Boasting a $130,000 prize purse with $50,000 added guaranteed, this new skins format will feature 16 of the top male professional pool players in four different brackets:

Johnny “The Scorpion” Archer – Player of the Decade for the 1990s, 2003 Player of the Year

Corey Deuel – 2002 U.S. Open champion and 2004 Sudden Death 7-Ball champion

Mike Massey – 2004 Trick Shot Magic champion

Thorsten Hohmann – 2003 World Pool champion

Niels Feijen – 2004 U.S. Open semifinalist

Gabe Owen – 2004 U.S. Open Champion

Fabio Petroni – 2003 Euro Tour champion

The quarterfinals begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, the semifinals begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, and the finals are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.  The semifinal and final matches will be taped by ESPN.

A skin is earned by winning three games in a row, and its value is determined by combining all game values since the last skin was awarded.  There are four players in a bracket competing against each other.  Rules will be standard express, and players are guaranteed to have equal breaking opportunities.
