Forty players were given a bye, based o­n UPA and WPA rankings as well as promoter’s choice.  o­ne player who did not receive a bye was last year’s semifinalist, Keith McCready, who plays Ryan McCreesh at 9 p.m. this evening.

With $50,000 added to the total purse, the winner will walk away $30,000 heavier.  The finals will conclude o­n Sunday, September 12, 2004.
