U.S. Open champ Ralf Souquet; Efren "The Magician" Reyes, who was the most recent inductee to the BCA Hall of Fame; and newly crowned Champion of Champions Francisco Bustamante will be joining some of the best 9-ballers in the world in Queens for the Big Apple tournament. The tournament is scheduled to begin today at noon and go through the weekend, with the finals on Sunday, August 17.
Major tournament sponsors are Benedict Min, the owner of Master Billiard, and Joel Shapiro. This is a World Pool-Billiard Association-sanctioned event and is the third stop on their 2003 WPA World Tour. It is also sanctioned by the UPA.
