Tiger Products Signs o­n As Planet Pool Tour Title Sponsor

Tiger Products has signed a two-year agreement with Planet Pool to become the new title sponsor of the Planet Pool Tour. Tiger Products, manufacturers of the new X Shaft and other billiard products and accessories, signed the deal after talks that started at the Super Billiards Expo earlier this year. Tour partner Cecilia Strain closed the deal o­n behalf of Planet Pool.

“The Planet Pool Tour has established itself as a professionally run organization that takes pride in catering to the needs and wants of players of all skill levels. Tiger Products is excited to be affiliated with such a fine organization and looks forward to a very long and successful relationship, said Tony "Tiger" Kalamdaryan, owner of Tiger Products.

The Planet Pool Tour is now in its sixth year as a regional pro-am tour in the Mid-Atlantic region. "We have been o­n the hunt for the right title sponsor for a while now, and we are delighted that Tiger has recognized our potential and professionalism," said Nick Prinsloo, Planet Pool Executive Director. "They are the perfect company for us to partner with at this time. We're both in the process of making our mark in the billiards industry, and together we will help each other grow and make an even bigger impact. We have complete faith in the quality of their products," he continued.

Effective immediately, the tour will change its name to the "Tiger Planet Pool Tour," but after the first year, it will become the "Tiger Tour." This is to prevent any confusion about the tour and for it to maintain its interim identity. The tour's website (http://www.tigerpooltour.com) has been updated with a new look to complement the new developments.
