Trick Shot Pool Comes to the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens

October 15th, 2004, Bell Gardens, CA  – The Bicycle Casino, located just 10 minutes east of Downtown LA, will be hosting the 2004 WPA World Artistic Pool Championship.  This event will be filmed by HDTV and it will be the first time that High-Definition TV has ever covered a billiard event.

The WPA World Artistic Pool Championship is scheduled for January 12-15, 2005 at the Bicycle Casino, 7301 Eastern Avenue, Bell Gardens, CA 90201, best known as the premier Southern California tour stop o­n the highly respected World Poker Tour. Fondly referred to as “The Bike”, it is renowned for professional, innovative poker tournaments, progressive promotions and boasts the o­nly play-for-free website, www.thebike.com, owned by a land-based casino. This highly-anticipated Pool Championship will be held the week after the United Pool Association’s (UPA) 9-Ball event January 4-9 being filmed by ESPN.

· # 4:  Stefano Pelinga (Italy) – 2003 US Open Champion
· # 5:  Lukasz Szywala (Poland) – 2004 Masters Champion
· # 6:  Sebastian Giumelli (Argentina) – ESPN Trick Shot Magic Two Time Semi-Finalist
· # 7:  Charles Darling – 2003 and 2004 North American Champion
· # 8:  Nick Nikolaidis – 2004 ESPN Trick Shot Magic Runner-Up and Multiple Guiness Record Holder.
