Undefeated Weekend for McInleyBy Bill Rosenberger Sixty-four players crowded Color of Money Billiards in Niagara Falls, ontario, for the sixth stop on the 10K Tour on January 8-9. The event was competitive, but only eight could return on Sunday, including D.J. McInley, who would sweep through to complete his undefeated victory. Joining McInley for the second day of the event was Jason Holdaway, Scott McDonald, and Dave McMahon. The early matches saw Terry Martin and Andrew Attard advance over Holdaway and Kirk Rutherford, but both later fell to finish in a tie for fifth. McInley and McDonald brought their undefeated records to the hot seat match, and McInley continued his dominating play with a 7-2 win. McDonald headed to the semifinals to face Dan Doener, who had just ousted McMahon with an 8-3 win. The semifinal match was back and forth, but McDonald pulled out the hill-hill win 7-6 to force a rematch with McInley in the finals. The final match was reminiscent of the hot seat match between the two competitors, with the outcome just as decisive. McInley dominated McDonald from start to finish, collecting $2,400 with an 8-2 win, completing his undefeated weekend. Results: 1st D.J.
