White Earns Pechauer Victory by InsidePOOL Magazine

White Earns Pechauer Victory

Brian White claimed the J. Pechauer Southeast 9-Ball Tour's Johnson City, TN, stop on October 16-17.  It wasn't easy for him, as the field of 37 gave him a run for his money.  The event, held at Numan's Billiards, drew nice crowds both days, and they were treated to some competitive 9-ball.

The hot seat match pitted White against Bob Fannin, but White's skills on Sunday were no match.  He took an early lead and ran out for the 9-5 win.

In the semifinals, tour director Tommy "TK" Kennedy faced Fannin, and both were eager for rematches against White.  In a tight match, Kennedy edged out the victory 9-7.

Having earned his rematch, Kennedy matched White in a shot-for-shot and game-for-game finals.  White, though, was hot late in the match and ran out for the 11-9 tournament victory.
