World Artistic Pool Tour by InsidePOOL Magazine

At the present time, the "end of the year" point's accumulation payout for 2003/2004 will apply to those world tour events from June 1, 2003 thru December 31, 2004 as listed in the official schedule.    However, the WPA World Championships and the ESPN Trick Shot Magic event, which are invitational, appointed, and/or qualifier "position earned" events, do not accrue points to this payout fund or a ranking list - once established.   All players will be notified of the tour schedule, as stops are added or deleted, through our email database or direct by postal mail…if a player does not have access to online notification.  Please notify us of a change in your contact information a minimum of 60 days prior to select events.   This will help to eliminate a player from not being notified of any tour changes.

Points of accumulation available to each player per event will be as follows:

Position Points:    10 points for 1st, 8 points for 2nd, 6 points for 3rd, and 4 points for 4th, plus

Discipline Points:    2 points for each discipline won, plus

Completion Points:    1 point for completion of the event shot/challenge program

Points Monetary Value:   $25 "minimum" per point earned and paid by "Dr. Cue"
                                            Promotions…no later than December 31, 2004

in Europe, plus more in the other continental federations/associations, as requested.

   * Accu Billiards and Dr. Cue Promotions - Main Monetary Sponsors
** Allen Hopkins and Dr. Cue Promotions - Main Monetary Sponsors

SPONSOR NOTE:  GTS Ministries, Inc. is our main service sponsor for each event, and Steve Lillis, founder of GTS Ministries is our primary tournament director.   The contribution of time and effort by Steve and his staff, plus the financial expenditure by this ministry to make our tour possible is priceless.  As a tour co-administer with Steve, I want to personally thank him for his treasured contributions, plus the opportunity to share in the "crusade" of GTS/RACK, which will make an "outreach" presentation of "artistic skills" and witness experiences at each event, according to venue guidelines.

A minimum amount of $10,000.00 will be added to the present "title" stops (US OPEN and MASTERS), plus any other "title" stops created/added in the future.   The add-on is $6000.00 minimum for the World Championships, and $2500 for the "world qualifier".  A minimum payback to 50% of the field will be given in each event.   The prize fund of the ESPN event is independent of our sanctioned events.   "Dr. Cue" Promotions is adding $5000 to each "title" event, plus funding the "end of the year" payouts for points earned.  Additional sponsor contributions, product and program sales, plus private donations to the  "crusade" of "artistic pool" will enhance each tour stop prize fund.  In addition, awards for the overall "artistic pool" Positional Winners, the 8 Discipline Champions, and the Sportsmanship Recipient will be presented at each event.   Sanctioning by specific federation/association continental bodies and the WPA will be applied to select events…as determined by the tour administrators, and in compliance to the WPA Artistic Pool Division guidelines.

Steve and I extend our best to each of you, as you consider joining us in this historic "artistic pool" tour journey.  This opportunity to finally take our magnetic discipline to new and enlightened levels of audience appeal, sponsor attachment, and player enjoyment is now in your hands.  The potential for future growth is vast, as we apply the professional image, professional demeanor, and professional skills of our "art" to the organized structure of competition - now, with financial stability to it.  May we all be proper stewards over this "gift" that has been entrusted to us.  If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact us.

OTHER NOTE:  A sponsor appeals letter, an agreement of sponsorship, and a press release
are forthcoming.   We welcome 1) those interested in hosting a tour stop,
                           2) financial sponsors for one or more of our events, 3) any service/product
contributor to our events, and 4) players interested in taking cue in hand to
experience the "art" of our discipline.  Please relay contact information on any
of these to either Steve or me, so that we can upgrade our database for each.
We thank you for your help in making our tour a success.
