It may be that your Data Access Components was not set up properly in the install.
Using the Windows Explorer type in the following into the Address Bar and press enter:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%
That should leave you in the

directory. That may be AllUsers.Windows?
Change into the
Billiard Business Solutions folder and right click on the
MDAC_TYP.EXE file. Run this with administrator privileges and do a complete install of the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC_TYP.EXE).
