| Hi, I'm hoping someone can assist. We use BBS to run a 21 table establishment in NY, and are trying to get our membership lists setup. We're having problems entering data. When an employee is entering data they do the following: 2) Employee (non-manager) goes to Players->Membership List 3) Clicks on Add New 4) Types in information for the player. 5) Clicks on Add New 6) Types in information for the player. 7) Once all players have been entered, Employee clicks EXIT. The next time we enter memberships, the players entered on the last round are BLANK. In some cases, the program will crash out of the membership list with an error -21??????????? during entry. Any ideas or thoughts please let us know ASAP, as we've got hundreds of members that need their numbers and membership cards. Also, is there a way to export this data to CSV or XLS or access it using MS Access or some other database program? I'd like to be able to get out a mailing list I can use to promote our special events, announcements, etc. Thanks, Alex A. FELT BILLIARDS |

| I believe this problem has been corrected. Please update to the latest version. Should be version 2.2.16 If you could let me know what version you're currently using, that would be appreciated. Update:8/21/2008 Checked out the report. The program should now update the database upon exiting without losing data. Thanks for the report. The latest version has been updated to version 2.2.17 to include this feature. As far as being able to export the membership into a database, we are looking into that. | Having done the upgrade, I've now lost to 50+ players we already had in the membership list, all our table rates, light codes, etc. Essentially ALL Settings, with the exception of the table layout and the Manager Password. ALL GONE. So now, less than 30 minutes before we open I'm rekeying all my data. Lovely.... -- A "Backup/Restore Hall Settings" option would be nice. Additionally, I can't access my TABS for tables. It returns the error "Microsoft Jet Database Engine The Microsoft Jet Database Engine cannot find the input table or query 'TabHistory'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly. -2147217865" (We have both Salestracker and BBSN, full version). Some immediate help would be appreciated. |
