Default Should I use light controls or not?

I'm opening a pool room but have a few questions about the use of automatic light controls. First, how do I activate them? Then how do I set up the wiring and install the controllers? Then after I do all of this, is it worth it? I mean, would it be good to have a dark pool room with only a few lights on so that customers don't get free time? Can I really keep my room safe from theft with light controls?

Drake,
You can activate the light controls on the managers menu.

The wiring layout diagram is available in the downloads section.

The choice of light control is yours ultimately. I can say that it's harder for employees to give away free time when that table light is off. Maybe instead of lighting your pool room with table lights, you can install some can or track lighting to keep it a little brighter. I have seen room do very well without the table lights on 100% of the time.

I hope that I helped.

I use light controls to deter the amount of theft going on in my room by my employees. I use some mood lighting to give my room a comfortable feel so my customers know that it's safe to come in and relax. I think that you should consider lighting areas of your main walkways to drive traffic away from your customers and the residual light will create that well-lit atmosphere that customers desire.

If you have a restaurant/food area, you should light it a little more too because customers like to see what they are eating. That will spill some light into your room too.
