Follow the basic 3 step process to set up your products for sale in
Sales Tracker. First turn your
manager's menu on from the
Other menu. And then follow the 3 step process.
- Enter the product you wish to sell in the Product Setup menu of the setup section of manager's menu. Here you enter the product name, description, cost, sale price and the amount of inventory you have of that particular item.
- Enter the Select Menu Setup section of the Setup section of the manager's menu. Here you should set up your general categories for the products you are selling. For example, you might want to enter Pool supplies as a category and sell chalk, pool cues, balls, etc. under that category.
- Associate the products with the menu category in the Select Items setup section. You should find your menu categories in the lower left hand column and your product items in the lower right hand column of the Select Item setup form. First click on the menu category item on the left and then choose a product item from the right column by clicking on that item with your mouse. Click on the next button until you arrive at a blank item and then select another item to place in that category, if you wish.
