Team DMIRO 10-Ball Tour Announced
Billiards Tour Makes Debut
After much anticipation, we are very proud to announce the Allen Hopkins Presents: Tiger Products and Team DMIRO’s Nationwide 10-Ball Tour. Team DMIRO was started by Mike Andrews and Geoff Bradshaw after they approached Allen in May about starting a nationwide 10-ball tour. Allen was excited about the idea, and now, after months of hard work, the tour is now a reality. The first stop will be at East Side Billiards in New York City on August 29-30, 2009, as a $2,000-added tournament. This is the first stop of 25.
In a single event, all of which will be 10-ball, amateurs will play amateurs and pros will play pros. Then when it gets to the final four amateurs and final four pros, they will play together for the cash and prizes in an eight-player bracket. This will guarantee that four amateurs will win cash at each event. This is unique and a new format that Allen Hopkins and tour director Mike Andrews have come up with.
The final eight players from each city will be invited to the Super Billiards Expo in March 2010 for a free roll tournament. There the players will play the final event for large cash prizes. Please ask the tour’s host rooms about the qualifiers.
There will be eight-player brackets at each room across the nation, and you can win your seat in one of the events for $15. Furthermore, the tour will be ranking amateurs and pros across the nation using Allen’s Global Pro Rating System.

When asked about his endorsement, marketing director Corey Harper stated, “Tiger Products is excited to be associated with and supporting Hall of Fame member Allen Hopkins in this endeavor. This is a great step for competitive pool, and we at Tiger hope to see this series lay the foundation for years to come of high-level pool action.”
The tour would also like to thank Royce Bunnell from OB Cues for his support. OB Cue Shafts are the official shafts on the tour. Also, they wish to thank Terry Taggart from Executive Billiards. Terry and Delta-13 Racks signed on as official sponsors of the tour, and the Delta 13 elite will be the official rack of the tour.
Additional thanks go to Zinzola Custom Cues, Hammond Custom Cues, Dennis Dieckman, Allen Hopkins Productions, and Run Out Sportswear.
The tour is still finishing the schedule. If you are a room owner, please contact Mike Andrews, tour director, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on hosting one of our stops across the nation.
