Arizona Women’s Billiard Tour / Phoenix, AZby InsidePOOL StaffSamm “Cherry Bomb” Diep dropped the bomb on the Arizona Women’s Billiard Tour’s September 25-26 event, coming back from a first-round loss to Susan Mello to take the event off. The $300-added event was hosted by BullShooters Billiards in Phoenix, AZ. Though Diep wasn’t in top form in the first round, being sent to the one-loss side by Mello 7-5, it didn’t take long for her game to heat up. She tore through the west side of the chart, eliminating Susan Wilbur, Susan Williams, Salena Holland, and Edwidge Cavanna. This set up a rematch with Mello, who had just been defeated in the hot seat match by a very determined Sara Miller.
