Step 1
Contact Definitive Synergy and ask to be part of the CuetPOS Customer Referral Program. Usually, existing customers ask about getting paid for a referral (providing a lead that purchases), and approval is instant for current customers. For resellers to register, they need only provide some simple business information such as years in business and experience with point of sale solutions, including CuetPOS.
Step 2
Approval. Once the applicant is approved, Definitive Synergy will share the desired form of contact, (i.e. text, email), and the proper information to provide for the lead to us. Usually this is name, phone, email, business name and best time/method to contact the lead. At this time, Definitive Synergy will also set up the method of payment for a lead purchases and becomes a successful lead or a “referral.”
Step 3
Start sending leads. With each lead, Definitive Synergy will confirm receipt of the information, confirm that the lead qualifies(*) within 24 hours, and make the appropriate efforts to contact the lead and turn them into a successful lead, or referral, a.k.a. closed sale.
Step 4
Receive payment from your lead purchasing. After the purchase takes place, Definitive Synergy will remit payment within 24-48 hours if electronic methods are set up, and within 3 business days if the participant elects to be paid by check.
For clarity, the CuetPOS Customer Referral Program operates by these general rules. Some may be obvious, some may not:
- When information about a potential customer is relayed or provided to Definitive Synergy, it is only consider a lead. The lead status is elevated to referral status upon successful completion of a purchase. Definitive Synergy does not pay for leads that do not purchase.
- A lead is not considered valid or qualified if the lead provided has contacted Definitive Synergy in the past. If the referral program participant feels that they have contributed and/or changed the sales status of this lead, the participant should declare this so Definitive Synergy can qualify the lead, assign ownership, and make the lead eligible for a referral fee upon completion of a purchase. For the most part, Definitive Synergy will assign the CuetPOS Customer Referral Program participant as the owner of the lead, if the lead mentions the name of the referral program participant.
- Only eligible leads that successfully purchase from Definitive Synergy produce a referral fee for the CuetPOS Customer Referral Program participant. To be clear, if the lead does not purchase, there is no referral fee generated because there was no purchase.
- If two or more CuetPOS Customer Referral Program participants submit the same lead, the first participant to submit the lead owns the lead. Should the lead purchase, the referral fee goes to the owner of the lead.
- When Definitive Synergy receives information for a potential customer, this is only a lead. When this lead purchases, they become a successful lead or a “referral.” Then and only then does Definitive Synergy remit the payment.
- All leads will be diligently followed up and contacted by Definitive Synergy in a responsible and courteous manner. We do not require that the CuetPOS Customer Referral Program participant follow up with the lead, but continued contact with the lead is also not forbidden either, as we understand that continued contact may be best.
